Abortion Argumentative Essay Outline Title: Why All Women Should Have The Right To Abort Introduction: Hook Statement: In many countries, women still do not have the right to have an abortion. Nearly 25% of the world's population lives in countries where abortion is highly disapproved. Background: Illegalizing abortion will not stop it from occurring. Moreover, denying access to abortion can cause mental and physical health issues to the victim. Matters such as rape or incest, unprofessionally-performed abortions, and civil rights play a major role in this matter. Thesis Statement: The legalization of abortion can prevent unnecessary suffering and deaths of women. Body Paragraph 1: Topic Sentence: Women often get strangled in situations such as rape and incest. Evidence: A woman was raped by her uncle and becomes unwantedly impregnated. This burdens the victim with psychological issues. Many who are against abortion argue that putting up the baby for adoption is a great alternative. Concluding Statement: However, having an abortion is not always about not wanting to take care of the child. It is about unwantedly carrying a baby that was conceived by a violent act. Body Paragraph 2: Present another claim in support of the topic and thesis statement. Body Paragraph 3: Provide facts and strong evidence to validate your claim.
