Power distance (PDI): Hofstede’s power distance index estimates the power different between the roles within an organization. The organization with high distance index accepts the hierarchical order in the workplace society, while the opposite advocates the equally treatment. FPT has a high score in this category because of the autocratic leadership style, complicated hierarchy and boss centralization. Collectivism vs individualism (IDV): The individualistic companies prefer to work separately, required privacy, independence and demanding the job promotion and prize. The relationship between employees sharing an individualism culture are cold, or even competitive. However, the collectivism companies are strongly relying on teamwork, where they can exchange the idea, synchronize the work as well as build up a good workplace relationship and share helping intention to other. FPT has a high score of IDV, as an individualism company. Employees prefer to complete their task alone, aim for career promotion, expect better treatment while respect others’ privacy. Masculinity and femineity: The Masculinity organization aims for financial development, its concern is to maximize the employees’ performance as well as gain in the business activities. On the other hand, femineity organization encourages the connection between employees, the caring in the workplace society and ethical in the decision making. FPT has a masculine culture when the achievement and income are the superior goal of the company.. Uncertainty avoidance (UI): With low uncertainty avoidance index, the company is likely to be innovative and open to new idea as well as willing to take risk. The benefit of this dynamic culture is that it can bring outstanding benefit, effective performance while the opposite is true as its low success rate, which may overshadow the benefit.
