The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is a regulation enacted on July 26, 1990, to prevent discrimination against individuals with disabilities, including those who are deaf or hard of hearing. The ADA offers enforceable standards addressing discrimination and helps approximately 43 million Americans with disabilities, 24 million of whom have hearing impairments. what constitutes a disability, the spaces governed by the ADA, and the implications for employment, stores, businesses, community accommodations, health treatment, telecommunications, and national and native administrations, law courts, and prosecutors.
