For the purposes of writing this script I have used the state ‘endorphins/feel good’. Feel free to adapt this script to anchor other useful states your client might find useful during birth (eg: feeling grounded, calm, safe, feeling loved etc…) It is also important to not that the stimulus/trigger will not anchotr unless it is being repeated as the script is being read out. So – if you’re trigger is soft touch massage, make sure this is being done throughout… same applies with any trigger you choose. You’ve probably noticed times in the past… haven’t you… where you’ve felt what you might call an ‘endorphin’ response… when you’ve felt really, really good… really open… powerful… free… whether it’s with friends… on holiday… or perhaps a completely different place in time… because there are times as you look back… over your life where you notice those specific memories… particular moments which stand out for you as being hugely endorphin filled… … … … so just give me a gentle nod when you’ve found this perfect time… … … (wait for client/s to nod) … and as you’ve settled on the right memory.. the right time and space where you were… and now are… feeling all those wonderful sunshine feelings … as you enjoy that feeling of soft touch on the back from someone who supports you here in this space (assuming a partner is doing soft touch massage at the same time) … so you can enjoy and focus on that sensation… as another part of you takes yourself back… inside your memory… to that time… and just on the inside to yourself perhaps you can name this memory… give this memory… this place and time… a title all of its very own… Visual Reconnection with Memory… … and whether a title has already been placed… or whether it takes a little longer doesn’t matter… as I invite you to place yourself in the very centre of this time and see everything you’re seeing… in this particular moment… really noticing the things that you can see… because I know that you know that you’ve chosen this specific memory for a good reason… so enjoy exploring it through the sense of sight… you might notice particular colours… possibly Anchoring Script. 2 faces… particular movement… in this particular time when… you’re feeling good… free… open… endorphins in the body… take a full 360 and look all the way around… and really place yourself at the centre… … you might notice some detail…. about some things and want to get up close… and you might notice things more generally and a landscape of how this and that come together… Auditory Reconnection with Memory… … and so as a part of you continues to notice… the things that you can see… what can you hear?... that’s right… and maybe there's just one thing that’s very obvious that you can hear… or maybe there is a variety of different sounds now… because the things we hear are layered… often we think we can only hear one thing… yet… when a person really pays attention to this feel good feeling right now… really pay attention to listening… to the things that are close by… and the things that are further away… … … … right at the centre of a feelgood memory… feeling good in growing endorphins now… as you notice the things you can see… the things you can hear… Kinesthetic Reconnection with Memory… … and the feelings on the outside too… whether that’s the temperature… on the skin… the soft brush or the tightness of clothes or things that you’re wearing… the way that your weight is shifted… supported wherever you’re standing, sitting or lying… all those details of what's going on… textures… and moving inside too… generally the feelings that we feel somewhere in the middle of our bodies… and so I wonder where that feel good feeling in the centre of this time… this place… as your eyes take it all in… you hear every layer… and feel deeply everything that you’re feeling… you can feel curious about… where does endorphins… where does feeling good begin inside?... and maybe this feeling good feeling has a particular colour in your minds eye… in your amazing imagination… or maybe endorphins move in a particular way… or direction… I don't know how far and how easily they travel all the way up the
