[20 Marks] (a) peak voltage (VP), (b) peak-to-peak voltage (VP/P), (c) period, (d) frequency, (e) phase difference. Q.2 A sinusoidal voltage waveform is given by the equation v = 200 sin(628t). Determine; (a) the peak value, [4 Marks] (b) the angular frequency, [4 Marks] (c) the cyclic frequency, [4 Marks] (d) the periodic time, [4 Marks] (e) the instantaneous voltage 6.35 ms into the cycle. [4 Marks] Q.3 (a) Define the decibel. [8 Marks] (b) Express the following power ratios as gains or losses in decibels; (i) 400, [3 Marks] (ii) 100, [3 Marks] (iii) 1 [3 Marks] (iv) 0.5. [3 Marks] Q.4 The input signal voltage level to an amplifier is +24dB relative to 1µV, and the amplifier has a decibel voltage gain of 30dB.
