There are strong rules on who can have a gun, where a gun may be kept, and where a gun is used. Individuals who intend to possess a firearm or have a gun in their home must be well- versed in these laws. Given the state of the world today, some believe that gun laws should be revised and made more stringent. To be completely honest, despite the fact that I own a gun, the purpose of this paper is not to support or oppose gun laws, but rather to educate myself about them and understand how I feel about them so that I am aware of our rights when it comes to having firearms in our home. There are numerous gun laws enacted by the federal government; however, each state government has its own set of laws. B.
