BSBA - GBM 2 Rizal031-MF (1:30-3:00PM) Asynchronous Activity No.7 MY EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE My educational journey has been a valuable and transformative experience from the very beginning of my learning. My first teacher was my mother, who played a crucial role in teaching me basic reading, writing, and counting skills at home. She patiently nurtured my curiosity and instilled in me a love for learning. I have learned to recite the alphabet through playful activities and songs, which helped me develop my listening and speaking skills. At the age of 4, as I entered preschool, I was exposed to a wider range of educational experiences. I engaged in daily activities that promoted my emergent literacy skills, such as story time, drawing and coloring, and interactive play with peers. During this time, I am slowly developing how to write, read, count and recognize colors. First day of School As I embarked on primary school, my parents continued to play an active role in my educational journey. They ensured that I had a supportive home environment where I could further develop my literacy and mathematics skills through various activities. During this time, I was able to recognize what I learned in preschool and build upon that foundation. I was able to explore different books, learn new words, and understand basic mathematical concepts. Throughout my primary school years, my teachers played a crucial role in expanding my knowledge and fostering my love of learning. They introduced me to new subjects and encouraged critical thinking and creativity in the classroom. During my secondary school years, I had the opportunity to explore a wider range of subjects and develop a deeper understanding of various academic disciplines. I was challenged to think critically, solve complex problems, and communicate my ideas effectively in both written and oral form. My teachers provided guidance and support, pushing me to reach my full potential. I also developed important skills such as time management and research skills, which were essential for managing my workload and completing assignments. In high school, I was able to choose elective courses that aligned with my interests and career aspirations. This time I have gained true friends that still I am in touch with to this day. They also play a crucial role in my educational journey as we study together, exchange knowledge and ideas, and support each other through the challenges of high school. During my high school years, I also took part in extracurricular activities that further enriched my educational experience. These activities included joining clubs and organizations, participating in sports fests, and engaging in the community through volunteer work. My memorable memory in high school as side from graduating, was the catechism retreat that we had conducted as a class. We helped the children from the rural areas to learn about faith and spirituality.
