BUILDING CONTROL FEES FROM 8 APRIL 2013 These notes are for guidance only. If you need full details, definitions and so on, refer to the Building (Prescribed Fees) Regulations (NI) 2013. If you need full definitions of ā€˜exemptā€™ developments, refer to the Building Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012. The guidance we have given here relates to the fees due for three types of application ā€“ Full Plans Submissions, Building Notices and Applications for Regularisation Certificates. FULL PLAN SUBMISSIONS Fees are due in two stages 1. The plan fee - due when you make your application 2. The inspection fee - due when the council invoices you, after inspections have begun. We will not treat the Notices as ā€˜givenā€™ unless you have paid the correct fee and, where appropriate, you have given us an estimate of the cost of the relevant work.
