Explain what is self -leadership in your own words. For me, self-leadership is a process of leading one’s self for the fulfilment of one’s goal. Leadership begins in our selves. If we know how to lead ourselves, leading others would be easy. 2. How self-leadership be develop? Leadership is not an inborn trait, but it is developed through learning and training people with a sincere interest. In order to develop self-leadership, we must be able to have clarity of purpose which simply means that we must have a clear vision and be able to set it up. Another one is we must aim at success and take reasonable risks. Risk taking is necessary part of our life. We must take risks that are fairly measured and challenge ourselves in doing challenging assignments. Next is we must spend time to reflect on our life because we can never notice the small mistakes we do unless we examine ourselves. Lastly, we must not tolerate negative factors laziness, anxiety and many others as they are not helpful in developing self-leadership. 3. Explain what is lead by example. They say that a great leader is a good follower. And what makes a great leader is acting like one. As a leader, people around you will look into you, from the decisions you make to the things that you do, that is why it is very important to set yourself as a good example to the people around you. You must be a role model to your followers so that you will be able to work harmoniously with one another towards reaching the goals. 4. Give the brief explanation of clarity of purpose in your own words. Clarity of purpose means having a clear vision of one’s life and be able to work it out. We cannot lead ourselves in fulfilling what we want in life if we don’t have a clear vision of it. We rule our lives so we must rule it accordingly. We must not work ourselves with the demand of other people’s want in our lives because it will definitely lead to nowhere. We must always keep in my mind our vision and focus on fulfilling it. 5. In your own words whatis leader and its roles A leader is someone whom people will look up into and follow. A leader is responsible for guiding the people towards reaching a certain goal. Their role is to set the company or organization's specific vision, motivate employees, guide workers through the cycle of work, and create morale. 6. Give the four primary factors of leadership and explain each with your own words and understanding. The four primary factors of leadership are: « Leader- The leaders are the ones whom people follow so they must be able to have a full understanding of one’s self, including their capabilities and limitations, and that they must know to gain trust of the people around them for the people to follow them. ¢ Followers- These are the people who needs guidance and motivation from a leader. These are the people who work together with the leader in achieving the company or organization's goal. ¢ Communication- A good communication between people creates a different form of atmosphere. It is very important in reaching success. A group without good communication is more likely to fail that is why people should communicate with each other to be able to get positive results. ¢ Situation- Different situations require different forms of approaches. One must assess different situations first before reacting unto it to be able to avoid any conflicts and misunderstandings. People should learn to listen and understand to be able to have good relationship with others. 7. Why leadership skills is much more important as being a future Law enforcer. For me, leadership skills are very important for future law enforcers because of the authority and power they have. People will look up unto them and that make them an example. Law enforcers are very important in the society and that they are public servants so they must master their leadership skills in leading their colleagues and the people under their jurisdiction. Good leadership plays an important role in maintaining peace and order in the society. 8. Read the Leadership Principles number (6) and give your own self reflections.
