A list of guidelines for students filling out the Common Application. It includes information on GPA, rank, graduation date, AICE classes, and how to report classes to colleges. Our rank is a weighted GPA 3. Cumulative GPA is unweighted on Virtual Counselor 4. Graduation date as of now is June 4, 2023 (this is NOT confirmed) 5. We have a 98% graduation rate (80% -4 year and 18%- 2 year) 6. AICE classes are not listed so the students can list them as "accelerated" or "advanced" 7. Students can list their AICE scores and if they are an AICE Diploma Award Candidate under "Additional Information" (They will need to fill out the form on the website for Cambridge to send their scores to the colleges) 8. If you have the option to write in a class, e.g. “Cambridge AICE English Lit”, you should do it 9. All Cypress Bay classes are worth 1.0 credit unless they are split on the course card (ex. Psychology/Sociology). Then you would list each one as .5 10. Political Government .5 11. Comparative Government .5 12. Macro Economics .5 13. Micro Economics .5 14. AP Government .5/Economic Honors .5 15. Most dual enrollment classes are 3.0 but students should check 16. Honors worth 1.0/.05 (colleges) 17. AP/AICE worth 2.0/1.0 (colleges) 18. All classes including the repeated classes should be reported to the colleges 19. A reminder that our weighted GPA will look drastically different than what Bright Futures and the colleges will calculate
