On one hand, the wrong use of technology can cause a lot of problems: technological progress has led to increase the level of pollution and emission levels. Also, the water quality decreased due to the industrial waste. A high level of pollution can cause health problems, global warming, and extinction of species. Moreover, some people have become addicted to their smartphones: they lose connection to the real world and become socially isolated. On the other hand, technology has many pros too: it increases efficiency by accelerating the process of many tasks to take less time. Furthermore, the internet is considered a modern technology: it helps us to communicate with others from further distances and gives access to all the knowledge from our home which helps self-learning. Moreover, technology has led to improvements in all sectors: education, healthcare, industry, and entertainment. It has become necessary to solve our global problems. To conclude, it is clear that the technology is a double-edged weapon because it has a negative side which is unsafe and also a positive side which is satisfying.
