Corporations and individual consumers should share responsibility because both "consume" resources that will run out if sustainability concerns are ignored. 2. In terms of our carbon footprint, we should be required to track the mileage of our automobiles as well as the quantity of power we use on a daily basis. We should unplug our gadgets when not in use, avoid buying new clothing simply because they're trendy, eat more locally and organically, and, if feasible, fill our yards with plants and trees. 3. The responsibility of duty should not be distributed equally. Individual acts have a little influence when considered on a wider scale. Corporations have been shown to emit significant volumes of greenhouse gases into the environment. They should take the lion's share of the blame because they are also big contributors to the situation. 4. When implementing sustainability initiatives, society should constantly consult with the people. They are the ones who will immediately profit or suffer the repercussions; hence, their opinions must be heard. Furthermore, environmental sustainability must be integrated into the operations of all businesses, particularly the major ones that emit the most greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. They should be rewarded for their sustainability efforts but being penalized for activities that hurt the environment. Meanwhile, the government must guarantee that sustainability rules are followed. Explanation: I supported my responses by reading the assigned literature and looking for more references, particularly those stating how companies are damaging the environment through unregulated or unmonitored greenhouse gas emissions. In my investigation, I also discovered that, in the great scheme of things, individual activities are insignificant. Corporations and governments, for example, should take the initiative and carry more responsibility for environmental sustainability.
