Download CSCI 2210 Data Structures: Submission Guidelines and Software Requirements - Prof. Gordon and more Lab Reports Data Structures and Algorithms in PDF only on Docsity! CSCI 2210 – Data Structures: Some Facts 1. Section 001 meets 2:15 – 4:15 TR. It meets primarily in lecture room 436; occasionally, it will meet in lab 492. 2. Instructor : Dr. Don Bailes. Office: 459 Nicks Hall. Office Hours: posted on website (see below). E-Mail address: bailes@etsu.edu. 3. Course web site : http://csciwww.etsu.edu/bailes/2210. This course DOES NOT use D2L. Assignments, lecture materials, and other materials are posted on the course web site. 4. Assignment submissions : Unless otherwise specified, assigned work that is to be submitted for grading should be submitted as a zipped file with a specified name as an email attachment. a. All files to be submitted as a single submission should be zipped into a file whose name is 2210-xxx- firstlast-aaaaa.zip where xxx is your section number, firstlast is your name (first and last), and aaaaa is your assignment name and number. For example, a Lab 1 submission for Jim Nasium from section 001 should be named 2210-001-JimNasium-Lab1.zip. b. In general, you should zip the entire solution/project folder for submission. However, before doing so, you should delete all files except for the solution file (.sln), the project file (.vcproj), and your source code files (.cpp and .h). Other files can be built/rebuilt by the compiler, and many of them cannot make it through the email system’s security filters. c. All submissions should be directed to BOTH your instructor (bailes@etsu.edu) and to the teaching assistant, Sagar Gopanapalli, at gopanapalli@goldmail.etsu.edu. d. Please use your GOLDMAIL address for your submission even though that may not be your preferred address. Off-campus email often ends up caught in the SPAM filter and it does not arrive for grading. e. Exceptions to these rules for assignment submission, if any, will be stated in the assignments and/or in class. 5. Software needed : Visual Studio 2008 Team Suite with Service Pack 1 is required for this course. Visual Studio 2008 comes in several editions (Express, Professional, Team Suite, and so forth). They include a set of instructor-written utility functions (in util.zip) and a set of instructor-written macros (in VS2008Macros.zip). Use of these will be described in class. b.
