Content Standard The learners have an understanding of imagery, diction, figures of speech, and variations on language. B. Performance Standard The learners shall be able to produce short paragraphs or vignettes using imagery, diction, figures of speech, and specific experiences C. Learning Competency/Objectives (Write the LC code for each.) 1. Define imagery and the five sensory experience applied to enrich writing(Cognitive) 2. Write a brief descriptive paragraph and informal letter incorporating imagery (Psychomotor) 3. Perceive a positive outlook about the future. (Affective) III. CONTENT Imagery and Sensory Experience V. Rank them from 1 to 10 based on your level of familiarity with them with 10 as the most familiar to you and 1 as the least or not familiar at all. See the table below for interpretation of your level of familiarity. What’s your final rating? Are you familiar with all creative writings? Discussing new concepts and practicing new skills # 1 Explain that Creative writing is a form of writing where creativity is at the forefront of its purpose through using imagination, creativity, and innovation in order to tell a story through strong written visuals with an emotional impact, like in poetry writing, short story writing, novel writing, and more.
