Finland topped the Index followed by Sweden & Denmark. Bengaluru has been named as the most liveable city of India, in the Ease of Living Index 2020, released by the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE). India maintained 43rd rank on an annual World Competitiveness Index compiled by the Institute for Management Development (IMD) that examined the impact of COVID-19 on economies around the world this year. Switzerland topped the list followed by Sweden. The 15th edition of the Global Peace Index (GPI) announced by Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP) Sydney. India has moved up two notches from its previous year’s ranking to become the 135th most peaceful country. Iceland remains the most peaceful country in the world. India has been ranked at 14th spot among 114 countries in the World Giving Index 2021, by the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF). The World Giving Index ranking has been topped by Indonesia, followed by Kenya, Nigeria, Myanmar and Australia in the top five respectively. As per the ‘Global Skills Report 2021’ released by Coursera, India has been ranked 67th overall globally. Switzerland topped the index followed by Luxembourg. Auckland topped the Global Liveability Index 2021. Osaka ranked second and Adelide ranked third. The London-based Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) has released the QS World University Rankings 2022. Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) has topped the ranking. IIT-Bombay is ranked as the best University in India with a rank of 177. It is followed by IIT-Delhi (185) and IISc (186). Kerala has retained the top rank in Niti Aayog’s 3rd edition of SDG India Index 2020-21, while Bihar has been adjudged as the worst performer.
