Section 001 meets 2:15 – 4:15 pm TR. On Tuesdays, it meets in Lab 492; on Thursdays, it meets in Room 436. 2. Instructor : Dr. Don Bailes. Office: 459 Nicks Hall. Office Hours: posted on website (see below). E-Mail address: bailes@etsu.edu. 3. Teaching Assistant : Chris Boren. E-Mail address: zchb11@goldmail.etsu.edu. His duties include grading programming assignments, assisting students who have questions or need extra help, and interacting with students when Dr. Bailes is in class or working with others. Chris is a very helpful person who enjoys working with students. You should take advantage of the services he offers. 4. Course web site : http://csciwww.etsu.edu/bailes/2210. This course DOES NOT use D2L. Assignments and lecture materials are posted on the web site. 5. Assignment submissions : Unless otherwise specified, assigned work that is to be submitted for grading should be submitted as a zipped file with a specified name through the OIT Dropbox at https://www.etsu.edu/oit/helpdesk/dropbox/. a. All files to be submitted as a single submission should be zipped into a file whose name is 2210-xxx-firstlast-aaaaa.zip where xxx is your section number, firstlast is your name (first and last), and aaaaa is your assignment name and number. For example, a Lab 1 submission for Jim Nasium from section 001 should be named 2210-001-JimNasium-Lab1.zip. b. All submissions should be directed to BOTH your instructor (bailes@etsu.edu) and the teaching assistant (zchb11@goldmail.etsu.edu). c. Please list your E-Mail address as your GOLDMAIL address on your submission even though that may not be your preferred address. The Dropbox may not transmit submissions that use off-campus addresses. d. Exceptions to these rules, if any, will be stated in the assignments and/or in class.
