Content Standards The learner demonstrates understanding of shapes, colors, and texture, and principles of balance, proportion and variety through drawing. B. Performance Standards The learner creates a portrait of himself and his family which shows the elements and principles of art by drawing. C. Learning Competency and Codes Tells that ART is all around and is created by different people. Specific Objectives a. Knowledge- Identify the different kinds of shapes b. Skills- To Draw c. Presenting examples / instances of the new lesson Let the pupils identify its shapes by showing the real object. D. Discussing new concepts and practicing new skills #1 -The teacher will introduce the lesson. E. Discussing new concepts and practicing new skills #2 -The teacher will discuss further about the lesson. F. Developing mastery (leads to formative assessment) -The teacher will ask the learners to look around inside the classroom and give an example of shapes that what they look inside. G.
