"For an agreement to be treated as a contract the parties must have agreed on all the material particulars of it with sufficient certainty." Discuss this proposition critically. 2. "The doctrine of privity in the law of the Commonwealth Caribbean is in serious need of reform." Examine this statement. 3. Critically examine the judicial and legislative treatment of exemption clauses. Lena and Michael are negotiating the sale of Lena's laptop computer to Michael. Lena tells Michael, "I am no expert, but I think that you are getting a top quality information system here. Plus, it can make you a hit with the ladies. Moreover, I have a friend Neil, who is a whiz at these things. He will provide you with free service for a year and I'll throw in some software too." Michael agrees to buy the laptop computer for $2500 and Lena and Michael sign a written contract stating merely that Lena agrees to sell a laptop to Michael for the sum of $2500 payable in cash on delivery.
