She had no friends except for her dog Roxy. She always went to school and got bullied by her classmates or the older ones, but she didn’t really care. When she comes home from school, she changes her clothes, eats lunch then takes Roxy to the park to play. The park was just right by her house down the street, so they always used to go walking. Today they were fetch. Suddenly the squishy ball went somewhere in the bushes, so Roxy went ahead to get it. After he went near the bushes he started barking loudly. Sophie came to see what's wrong until this moment, she found a small brown box which was very old and covered with dust. She then took Roxy and walked back home to see what was in the box. When she reached home she quickly ran into her room and sat on her bed, she then opened the box, and under the box was written (1789 and under that was written “if you wish you will lose something or someone precious”). Sophie didn’t bother with what's written and she didn’t even read it. When she opened the box, she found a necklace shaped like a small heart. Sophie decided to wear the necklace, and after wearing it, the necklace started glowing, although, it didn’t seem glowing to her. Sophie every night wished she had a friend, but her wish never came true. Today before going to bed she prayed and wished for the same thing and the moment she made that wish; the necklace made a tune. The next morning Sophie woke up got dressed and headed to school, when she reached to school she saw a new girl standing near Sophie's classroom alone. Sophie walked up to her and asked her what's her name. The new girl went by the name Grace. Sophie and Grace then started talking together. When the bell rang they went to class together and when it was lunch time they ate and sat together. Sophie was so happy to have a new friend and was looking forward to informing her mother. When the home bell rang Sophie ran home to inform her mom about Grace. When Sophie walked in the door she saw her mom sitting on the couch holding Roxy's picture and crying. Sophie asked her, Why are you crying? Mom answered: Roxy, he went out of the house, in the middle of the road and got hit by a truck. So, | took him and buried him in the backyard. Can | see him? Asked Sophie. (crying) Sure, | put him near the shack; Mom said Later, Sophie went to her room, picked up the necklace and wished she would be rich. On the other 8'" Willroad street lived her uncle named William. Her uncle William was boiling water for his afternoon tea, and as Sophie wished her wish, the necklace made another tune and suddenly her uncle burnt his hand with the kettle. The next morning in school, Sophie's teacher told the whole class that there will be a competition on clay- modeling, which will be held on Monday. Sophie joined because she is very good at it. After going home, she started studying for her science final exam which is for next week, but before that Sophie wished she wins for the competition and that was her fourth wish. She then started studying all the lessons due for the exam next week. After a few days, the clay modeling competition was held. After the competition was over, Sophie started focusing more on her test. One day before the test Sophie's teacher announced who was the winner for the clay modeling competition and the winner was “Sophie”. Sophie was so excited for her prize and she was picked as a winner. The prize was a million-dollar bill. Sophie was so happy because her wish came true. When she went home after school, Sophie showed the million-dollar bill to her mom, her mom started jumping and was very happy because they are rich now. As soon as Sophie showed her mom the bill she went up to her room and started revising for her exam tomorrow. She was so prepared and knew each answer thoroughly. Sophie's friend Grace wasn't good in science, so Grace came over to her house, for Sophie to teach her. After they both finished studying it was already time for Grace to go home and as her mom came to pick her up Sophie went to bed, so she can wake up with full energy for school. Sophie dreamed she had failed her science test, but then she woke up and couldn't sleep so she opened her science book and started reading more until her alarm went on. She then quickly changed her clothes and went to school. And as soon as the bell rang all the students went to the exam hall to attempt the test. At that moment when the teacher gave Sophie her paper, Sophie forgot everything and did not remember a word she read. When all the students finished the test and the teachers started collecting the papers Sophie started crying. When Sophie went home her mom made her favorite food which was steak with mashed potatoes. But as soon as Sophie opened the door her mom saw her eyes watering and her noise red. Sophie’s mom asked: Why are you crying? Sophie replied: |, |, forgot everything when the test paper was on my table. Then Sophie started crying more. When the teacher started correcting Sophie's paper she was so disappointed in her because she an A+ student and she always got good marks. A week passed when Sophie got her test papers. As soon as she got her papers she started crying because she failed. Sophie was disappointed with her marks as well, but she couldn't help it. Until now Sophie didn’t tell ANYONE about her necklace not even her mom. Sophie was always sad in school because of Roxy (her dog). Later, Sophie wished a wish about making a re-test and at the same time she also wished she would pass. So, the next day Sophie asked her teacher if she can make a re-test.
