We, the Ads Quality Team, have put together some tips and links in this one compact document, which we recommend you bookmark in your browser for future referral. Things to know before you start rating: · Shortly after you joined the program, you received an email notification of your enrollment into the New Rater Learning path course on the Absorb learning system HERE. If you have not already completed this - we do recommend you do so. This material was developed to help you attain the standard of work required of this program. · There are many informative documents on our Knowledge Base, so have a quick look through them. Often when we receive a question from a rater, the answer can be found HERE. · You may occasionally receive an email with a link to a quiz developed by the Quality Team. There is instant feedback available, with detailed explanations. These can be very helpful to your rating, as the tasks are carefully selected to enhance your learning experience. Tips for best practice while rating: · Take your time reading the Instructions of each task type. If you are feeling overwhelmed, get up and go for a walk or have a cup of coffee. Relax. Then go through it again. · While it is important to understand individual tasks and their ratings (and always feel free to reach out with specific task-related questions/screenshots, etc.), it is also important to understand the greater logic behind the tasks. · Take your time to understand each aspect of the task once you have acquired it. There is no need to rush. Remember: Quality over Quantity. You will get faster at rating as time progresses. · Rate in accordance with the Instructions as closely as possible. If you ever feel as though you need to explain your answer, please use the Comments box at the end of the task, if possible. · You might come across tasks in the rating system where you receive instant feedback. You should treat those just like every other task: read the instructions, assign your rating, and then check the feedback for potential misunderstandings or such. Some scenarios you may encounter when rating and how to overcome them: · Foreign Language: If you encounter a task that is not in your own language, check the instructions on how to handle Foreign Language. In some tasks you have to flag it right away, and not assign a rating, e.g. Search Ads Evaluation. There are other tasks (for example, Ad Inappropriateness) which should be rated based on the ad image, even if the language is not one Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from IP 172.16.254.9 by Aila nicole Vergara Wednesday, J une 22, 2 022 fr om IP 172.16.254.9 by A ila nicole V ergara Wednesday, J une 22, 2 022 fr om IP 172.16.254.9 by A ila nicole V ergara Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from IP 172.16.254.9 by Aila nicole Vergara you understand. Review the Instructions for the task type if you are unsure. Please see this video for some helpful tips. · Using a Flag: Flags can vary between tasks. Please carefully review the description of each flag before application, as they can vary (for example, for Foreign Languages and Unrateable). Please do your best to rate a task before applying a flag, if possible. · Reporting a Problem: This is a last resort. If you feel that you absolutely cannot rate a task, check to see if there is an applicable flag before reporting a problem. This is to be used for reporting errors in the EWOQ system. Some quizzes to practice on! Please take your time and read through each task carefully; you will receive feedback for your answers. Don’t worry if you don’t get the results you want, as long as you understand the concepts and can apply them to future ratings: · Link to Quiz 1: HERE · Link to Quiz 2: HERE · Link to Quiz 3: HERE Recommended reading: If you are feeling overwhelmed by the volume of information available in our Knowledge Base, don’t worry! We understand you may have some difficulties picking the appropriate place to start, so we have included some links to individual articles we feel may be helpful: Researching Queries and Understanding Intent The Role of a User Who to contact, and when: Please see the “Contact Us” section on your Geoworkerz Portal: HERE. Please be aware that when there is an influx of rater emails, there can be delays in response. We ask you to be patient with us, and we will answer you back as soon as possible. :) ***To get the most from our teams, please check information you already have access to first (for example the Knowledge Base or Task Instructions when querying tasks, as sometimes the answer is there). Please ensure you have contacted the correct email address and that you are as detailed as possible with your question (screenshots can be a great help)!*** If you have any questions about the above, please don’t hesitate and contact us at: adsquality@telusinternational.ai.
