Six different rights are determined when a consumer is not satisfied or notified by a business about a product they distributed The level of dissatisfaction with consumers and business and how they practice was a big concern in the late 1980s, as a result of failure in making their consumers happy because of bad products been sold or misrepresented, the government created the Consumer Protection Act to protect consumers from a business that has a bad reputation for selling misleading products and providing inaccurate information. There is a day reserved for consumers called National Consumers’ Day in honor of consumers been protected from misleading companies. (Toppr,2021). The First consumer right is the right to choose what they want to buy, when a customer enters a store and wants to buy a specific type of lotion for their skin, a store clerk can not demand that they buy a certain brand of lotion, It is against the law to force someone to purchase a product that is not of their interest, it's okay to recommend some good brands, but you can not make a consumer buy something they don’t want, everybody budget is different and some of us have to buy what we can afford versus what we want. The Second right to consumer education is a law that protects consumers from a business that does not deliver a product with good information. Most companies do educate both the pros the general business normally provides a website that gives a full description and contact information if a consumer has questions or concerns about a product. The Third consumer right is the right to be informed properly. All consumers are entitled to know everything about a product before they purchase it, there should always be a full instruction manual and informative labeling on all products explaining what's included in the product and a safety guide explaining what is in the product and who to contact if an accident happens to you while using the product. The Fourth consumer right is the right to be heard. This law means that a consumer has the right to express their opinion or complain about any product or service they have experienced from a business. Most companies depend on word of mouth when it comes to feedback, that is why every company you do business with there is a survey provided after each purchase, this survey lets the company know what they need to improve or modify with a product. Customer Service is very important when it comes to the face of a business, it is their job to make sure all customers feel appreciated and satisfied with the product and service that was given to them. One of the most important consumer right law is the Fifth consumer right which gives all consumers a right to a healthy environment. This right is where the consumer can choose to work and live in a sanitized environment. When a business provides their employees with a clean and safe environment it demonstrates that they care about their employee's welfare and their health. The Sixth consumer right is the right to service. This means that no one person can be denied service by any business. This law was created to make sure that all consumers can buy products from a business and be treated equally with service while they shop in the store. Results of a business both good and bad are sent to places like Better Business Bureau and Consumer Report to have reviews collected on their service from multiple categories of
