An in-depth explanation of adjectives, their functions, kinds, formation, and comparison. Adjectives are words used with a noun to describe or point out a person, animal, place, or thing, or to indicate number or quantity. They can be used attributively or predicatively and fall into various categories such as adjectives of quality, quantity, number, demonstrative, interrogative, emphasizing, and exclamatory. This document also covers the formation of adjectives from nouns, verbs, and adjectives, as well as the comparison of adjectives through the three degrees of comparison.
