Highly recommend a wonderful adaptation of a timeless 19th-century classic novel "Little Women", written by Louisa May Alcott. This film tells a story of four sisters, that have different and distinct personalities. We follow them through their fun teenage years till their twenties, when they start to experience harsh realities of this life. In the years after the Civil War, the main character- Jo March lives in New York and makes her living as a writer, her sister Amy studies painting in Paris. Their oldest sibling Meg, is married to a schoolteacher, while sister Beth develops a destructive illness that brings the family back together. Jo March is portrayed as a strong, independent girl that tries so hard to appear boyish and doesn't want to do anything, that is expected of a young woman at that period of time. She said she never gonna marry. She wanted to focus on her writing and prove to everyone that she has much more, that people expect. However, she said to her mom, that even though she is sick and tired of hearing that women are only capable of love, she is so lonely. She accepted, that even if you want to prove yourself in this life, it doesn't mean that you need avoid falling in love. There are many funny scenes in this film. That will be a great choice. It will have you on the edge of your seat until the very end and I am sure you will not regret watching it.
