Specific offer: specific offer made to a specific person & canbe accepted by identified person only. Cross offer: when two parties exchange identical offers but in ignorance of each other offer such offers are called cross offers. Counter offer: when the person to whom the offer is made makes the conditional acceptance of the offer he is said to have made counter offer. Continuing offer: an offer which is allowed to remain open for acceptance over a period of time is knownas a standing, open or continuing offer.
