The licence agreement between Jeff and Polly’s Publishers stated that he would receive £10 for every copy sold. The book has been published and is selling well in the shops. Steve who presents regularly on the Gardening TV channel saw the book and bought a copy. He decided to use the tips in the book, including text and diagrams, which he has renamed ‘Steve’s Snippets’ and these have been shown in between the main scheduled programmes. ‘Steve’s Snippets’ have now become very popular on Gardening TV and he has since been asked to present a spin-off programme to be shown for two hours in prime time television on Friday nights.
