ENTO450 Final Exam Guideline  Date and time for the exam will be announced 12/1/2008. You will have 2 hours to finish the exam, but  you may spend one more hour if needed.  This is simply because I want to test you intensively on the  exam.   This also means that exam questions will be somewhat intensive.  After a written exam, you will  have an open‐book exam to finish practical part of the exam with computer or calculator.  Here are tentative question types for the exam.  1. Definition  2. Comparison   3. Critical thinking (opinion)  4. Short essay questions  5. Calculation   Here are some tips for preparing the exam.  1. Study intensively.  Do not overlook any lecture materials.  Exam questions will be from all over  the lecture/experiment materials (even including your reports, presentations, and experiments).  2. There will be no tricky questions on the exam.    3.  If you are confident with a question (you know what the instructor is asking in the question),  please answer briefly to the key point.  If you are not confident with a question, try to write  down what you know and what you learned related to the question as much as you can.  4. Prepare for a relatively long exam.    5. Also, prepare for some hands‐on questions using computer or calculator.  So, prepare for it.  You  can bring excel files you created in the class with your for the exam.  Even, you can bring your  own laptop and calculator with you if you want.  6. If you have a question, please contact instructor, which would be the quickest and most reliable  way to get answers.  If you want, you can send me an email (yopark@mail.wvu.edu) to ask  questions by midnight before the exam.
