Relationship Between Brain Injury, Impulsivity, and Offending: Study of Risk Factors, Slides of Human Resource Management

The findings of a study investigating the association between traumatic brain injury (tbi), impulsivity, and offending behavior. The research reveals that education level, illicit drug use, alcohol abuse, impulsivity, and dissocial personality were independently linked to custody status, while tbi frequency and tbi with loss of consciousness were not. The study challenges the hypothesis that tbi leads to offending behavior and emphasizes the potential significance of neighborhood in tbi risk.
