Hinduism- all living things have value Before the Beatles trip to India, in 1967, John Lennon wrote, “All You Need is Love”. This song, from which I thought, brought openness for humans living on internal and external love for you and among others. When the Beatles decided to take a trip to India, a year after that song was released, it was shortly influenced by the Indian lecturer Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, after he made short trips to England, using Hinduism philosophy to get them through their manager’s death of overdose. During their trip to India, as I have studied, they have learned the art of meditation and the meaning of life (Upanishads defined this as karma, later on). The 1960s was full of creativity, and the experimentation of LSD, may have something to do with thought of bringing out the Beatles mellow songs. I think Eastern philosophy have become popular with the youth because many celebrities have used various quotes from Hinduism rites, and karma. Karma is due when another human does wrong whether in person, or behind closed doors. It is said that it will return to the sender, because in Hinduism all is good, it is based on morals. In addition, I think eastern philosophy incorporates meditation and yoga are hugely popular with young adults, because of the healthy and sacredness of linking sprits and strengths. How do you see this playing into the idea that all religion is humanly constructed? Religion is humanly constructed based on the writings of the sacred texts and instructions of each of the faiths, yet Hinduism has no founder. This religion does however have the Vedas that are honored and practiced, so the idea of dharma is everything is valued in human beings. Everything we do as humans
