Self-Appraisal is effectively a self-performance evaluation and it can be also used as an integral part of performance appraisal. Explain the concept of peer appraisal and outline one benefit of peer appraisal. Peer appraisal is a kind of advice system in the performance appraisal process. The system is intended to monitor and enhance the job performance. It is typically performed by associates who are a part of the same team.  Facilitating Accountability for Performance Improvement - The employee who receives feedback on their performance from peers, gain valuable insight into their strengths and advancements needs. 3. Outline three benefits of planning work.  Focuses attention on objectives and results – Planning the work early will energize the mind and with the focus centered on the current task, it is sure to hit optimum productivity.  Planning work in advance gives a clarity - having the tasks all planned out gives a clearer picture of what to do, when and how urgent. Outline each of the letters in the acronym SMART in relation to goals.  Specific: Well defined, clear, and unambiguous  Measurable: With specific criteria that measure your progress towards the accomplishment of the goal  Achievable: Attainable and not impossible to achieve  Realistic: Within reach, realistic, and relevant to your life purpose  Timely: With a clearly defined timeline, including a starting date and a target date. The purpose is to create urgency. 5. Discuss the concept of the Pareto Principle in relation to time management. The Pareto principle is a basic time management technique that can increase your performance by simply starting on solving the personal and non-personal problems first so that things can work out better and smoother. The Pareto rule suggests that 20 percent of the activities will account for 80 percent of the results. The conducting behavioural assessments and appraisals improve Performance. Improve the public speaking and presentations skill in 6 months’ time. As an IT manager my responsibility is to visit RTG client mainly private school to find out the IT needs. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare presentation and delivery in a manner the school recognize our service best. 3. Improve the team collaboration, also build and improve relationships with people at work in around 3months’ period. Team collaboration is a important skill especially for IT professionals to finish the project tasks on time and achieve the set business goals on time. 4. Improve my emotional intelligence - ability to understand both my emotions and others within 8 months. It is an important skill which helps improve communication, management, problem-solving, and relationships within the workplace. My 5 years goals are reasonable and achievable. Covered all the assessment task requirement. I have delivered the presentation very well and the audience and the assessor was clear about my professional development plan. The only mistake was pointed out my assessor is wrong unit competency selection. He has requested to amend the presentation and upload it. Other than that it was went very well. I was able to interact with audience and asked question. I have finished my presentation on time delivery it on time. 9.
