With the new learning modality, teachers now teaching their students using the application of ICT. Teachers can customize learning for students. It enables them to improve their instruction methods and personalize learning, thus it also increased their productivity and efficiency as instructors. Through technological tools, teachers establish an interactive classroom experience by providing exciting activities. I have here a literary piece entitled, "Buwaon and Totoon" a Waray folktale. Thus, in order for it to be technologically relevant, I had converted it into a comic script using Canva application. Canva is an online design platform that enables teachers and students to easily create beautiful and engaging designs. It has different ready-to-use educational templates including: worksheets, lesson plans, presentations, posters, newsletters, class schedules, book reports, infographics and more. Guided by the “Freytag’s Pyramid” plot structure, I have created a visual map of the plot in a form of a comic script. Through this, a comic script, the students can easily comprehend and visualize the story by interacting with both the text and images. Moreover, it's more entertaining and at the same time educational, comic script can be an effective and efficient learning tool for students at all levels.
