Get 3 sheets of paper from your teacher. 2. Place the sheets of paper on top of one another as shown below. Put about 1 ½ to 2 inches between sheets. page 1  page 2  page 3 3. Fold the pages over AWAY from you to create a foldable as shown below. The folds/flaps will be on the BACK, and it may be easier to flip the pages over to face you. There will be 6 sections. 4. Place two staples in the top of your foldable, and label the top section “Levels of Ecological Organization”. 5. Label the remaining sections in this order: Organism, Population, Community, Ecosystem, Biosphere. Write these titles in large bold print. 6. Lift the first flap (under the title) and write a definition for the word organism. Draw and color a picture to represent an organism. 7. Under the second flap you will place the definition for the word population. Draw and color a picture to represent a population. 8. Choose a biome or theme for your foldable and include organisms and other features found there. For example, if you choose an ocean theme, for organism you might use a shark, for population you might draw a group of sharks, for community you might draw sharks, flounder, and other groups of ocean organisms and so on. 9.
