Get 3 sheets of paper from your teacher. 2. Place the sheets of paper on top of one another as shown below. Put about 1 ½ to 2 inches between sheets. page 1  page 2  page 3 3. Fold the pages over AWAY from you to create a foldable as shown below. The folds/flaps will be on the BACK, and it may be easier to flip the pages over to face you. There will be 6 sections. 4. Place two staples in the top of your foldable, and label the top section “Levels of Ecological Organization”. 5. Label the remaining sections in this order: Organism, Population, Community, Ecosystem, Biosphere. Write these titles in large bold print. 6. Lift the first flap (under the title) and write a definition for the word organism. Draw and color a picture to represent an organism. 7. Under the second flap you will place the definition for the word population. Draw and color a picture to represent a population. 8. Choose a biome or theme for your foldable and include organisms and other features found there. For example, if you choose an ocean theme, for organism you might use a shark, for population you might draw a group of sharks, for community you might draw sharks, flounder, and other groups of ocean organisms and so on. 9. When you are finished, place your name, date and class period on the back of your foldable and turn it in. Docsity.com
