LESSON 1: NATURE AND BACKGROUND OF OUTDOOR RECREATION
Outdoor Recreation — is done during one’s free time for
his/her own personal reasons, where an interaction
between man and an element of nature is present.
An activity that is pursued outdoors during leisure time.
ACTUALLY, THERE ARE 2 TYPES OF RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
Passive Recreational Activities — done during leisure but
at a sedentary position.
Active Recreational Activities — requires one to spend
