It has been shown to be effective in treating a wide range of symptoms and conditions.” The cannabinoid receptors are part of the endocannabinoid system which function predominantly in modulating mood, memory, appetite, and pain sensation. Federal law regulates the importation, manufacture, distribution , possession , and improper use of all controlled substances, as well as the transportation of controlled substances across states lines. The topic is use of medical marijuana and the legalization of marijuana in the Philippines for medical use will be the issue. Do you agree or disagree with the legalization of marijuana in the Philippines for medical use? Is the current problem that needed to stand and reason out. The use of medical marijuana in cancer care presents a dilemma for both patients and physicians. The scientific evidence is evolving, yet much of the known information is still insufficient to adequately inform patients as to risks and benefits. The use of medical Marijuana can treat some diseases, it can lessen the pain that an individual has been suffering. In other countries, it’s already tested and proven but yet using medical marijuana have the disadvantages in over using it. The legal concerns regarding medical marijuana are complex, and the rapidly changing legal and legislative environment. Around this issue creates the risk information presented here may be quickly outdated. Here in the Philippines using of marijuana for medical purposes is illegal because marijuana is has been part of illegal drugs. Some people might take it for advantage to use it in wrong way that can lead to addiction. That’s why marijuana is not approved to be legal in medical issue here in Philippines. Legalization of marijuana for medical use is a long way process. Some studies said that using marijuana for medical use is not yet prove that it can really treat diseases but marijuana in other countries is an ingredient that mix in a pain killers. Its hard to make it legal here in Philippines due to less evidence and the government doesn’t let physicians to study it and experiment it. Padilla’s Senate Bill No. 230 will grant access to medicinal cannabis as a compassionate alternative means of medical treatment for a host of debilitating conditions. Pazcoguin, a native and citizen of the Philippines, was issued a United States immigrant visa by the American Embassy in Manila, as the unmarried son of a lawful permanent resident. As part of that visa issuance process, Pazcoguin underwent a psychiatric examination by Dr. Leilani L. Demeterio to determine whether he had a personality disorder. During the examination, Pazcoguin told Dr. Demeterio that he had used marijuana from 1984 to 1987, until he was approximately 21 years old. Dr. Demeterio issued a psychiatric report which noted Pazcoguin’s marijuana use. The consular officer in the American Embassy in Manila reviewed the medical report containing Pazcoguin’s admission of using marijuana, but nonetheless issued him an immigrant visa. In Pazcoguin’s case he used marijuana not medically that’s why he is suffering not unnecessary behavior. In this situation, it’s viewed the illegal use of marijuana.
