Higgs 1 Kearston Higgs Ms Pamela Bozeman HUM-115 Critical Thinking 05 Feburary 2023 Climate Change Analysis 1. Climate change can change the geography of the earth. Many places on earth especially closer to the coastlines and having low altitudes will sink down below the surface of the earth due to the rising sea levels. 2. Many species of flora and fauna existing currently on this earth will be extinct because of the rising temperatures of the earth. Due to the rising temperatures, these species won't be able to adapt to the usual environments they live in and become extinct slowly. 3. Agriculture all around the world will be adversely affected. Specific crops like rice, wheat, barley, etc. need specific climates and temperatures in order to grow. Changes in the temperatures will lead to improper growth of the crops in their environments and eventually, this will cause food shortages around the world. 4. There will be human migration crisis due to climate change, causing problems of internal human clashes, and food and hygiene problems amongst the migrants and the countries giving them refuge. 5. Climate change will result in the opening of new sea routes near the north and the south poles due to the melting of ice caps there. 6. Climate change will lead to the creation of many new diseases in humans due to the rise of new pathogens and lack of adaptability towards the changing climate in humans.
