ECET Lab 2: RL Circuit Calculations, Computer Analysis, and Measurements, Lab Reports of Microelectronic Circuits

A lab exercise for an electrical and computer engineering technology (ecet) course focusing on rl circuits. Students are required to calculate resistances, voltages, and currents for a given circuit with the switch open and closed. They are also expected to analyze the circuit using a computer program and measure the voltages and currents experimentally. The document does not provide the circuit diagram or specific values, making it essential for students to have the necessary background knowledge and resources.

Typology: Lab Reports

ECET Lab#2 (RL 157 Networks) t ; l t I - Y l0mII I. Calculations: For the circuit shown, with the switch OPEN, calculate r, vRl, vR2, vr_, ir_. Then CLOSE the switch and do all calculations again. (Show all work and plot the results as a function of time for storage and decay). II. Computer Analvsis: Place the above circuit in a computer program of your choice and determine the same parameters as you did in the Calculations section. ilI. Measurement: Construct the circuit shown above. Measure the voltages and currents described in the calculations section. Use BOTH a meter AND a scope for your measurements. These measurements hould be with the switch OPEN and CLOSED.
