Download Lecture Slides for Class Wrap Up | Urban Geography | GEOG 4210 and more Study notes Urbanization in PDF only on Docsity! 5/7/2009 1 Class Wrap-Up Things to Know for the Urban Geography Final Exam Class Wrap-Up Your final exam will take place on Thursday, May 14 at 10:30am in this room It will be a closed-book exam, with two parts worth a total of 90 points Try to finish in about 90 minutes, but you will have 2 hours (120 minutes) if you need it Class Wrap-Up Part A will be a short answer section, very similar to the kinds of questions you had on your two midterm exams In this section, you will have three possible questions, and you are to do two Each question is worth 15 points (30 points total for the section) Class Wrap-Up The short answer questions will focus on solely on content covered since the last midterm exam Just material from our discussion on urban planning and after (i.e. the project presentations) Study things like: lecture notes, key ideas from class and your readings, maps, video case studies Class Wrap-Up Part B is an essay section You will have three essay topics to choose from, and you are to do one of them This single essay is worth 60 points Bring a blue book to write this essay question But remember: you will complete Part A in the exam question booklet itself, just as on the midterm exams Class Wrap-Up The emphasis of the essay question is on “bringing the course together” The three essay topics given will each ask you to give some general discussion of themes from throughout the course Your essay should cover big picture ideas: main lecture points, key examples from the entire class
