OUTDOOR MEDIA 4. NEW MEDIA PRINT MEDIA - Involves the usage of physical medium such as paper, cloth, etc. FORMS OF PRINT MEDIUM 1. NEWS PAPER - Lightweight serial publication which comes out regularly and contains news on current of special or general interest. TWO TYPES OF NEWS PAPER ➢ BROADSHEET – Large size ➢ TABLOID – Half size of Broadsheet 2. BOOK - Printed or written work of pages glued or sewn together along one side and bound in covers. 3. MAGAZINE - Periodical publication containing articles and illustration typically covering a particular subject or area of interest 4. JOURNAL - Deals with particular subject or professional activity A.L MERINO STAYLAYVELY BROADCAST MEDIA - Used to transmit transformation to reach target audience using airwaves as the transmission medium FORMS OF BROADCAST MEDIUM 1. TELEVISION - Comes from the word TELE (From a Greek word means FAR WAY) and VISION (SIGHT) - Receive broadcasting signals and change them into pictures and sound. 2. RADIO - Way to send electromagnetic signal over a long distance, to deliver information from one place to another. 3. FILM - Similar to television show as it offers a variety of themes and genres. 4. MOVIE AND TV CLASSIFICATION RATINGS MOVIE G PG R-13 / R-16 / R-18 TV G PG SPG G - Stands for general patronage PG - Shows require parental guidance SPG - Strict parental guidance is advice R-13 – R-18 - Shows restricted for a particular age OUTDOOR MEDIA - Consist of any advertising seen outside of home.
