Recently, the technical tools of the media include not only the press, radio, television, but also the Internet and advertising. Among the main methods of manipulation, one can name: various visual effects, hidden tactics of manipulation (methods of presenting material, a special arrangement of this material, etc.), language manipulation, propaganda methods of influence. Linguistic expression in the media is capable of influencing the socio-cultural, economic aspects of human life, forming individuality, personality, and linguistic representation of a person. Propaganda methods are used mainly in the framework of political influence. We are talking about the formation of the necessary imaade of aovernment, power, statehood. Cognitive: ¢ formation of attitudes; ¢ definition of items on the "agenda"; * expansion of people's ideas; ¢ clarification of value orientations Affective ¢ the formation of feelings of concern, fear; ¢ influence on the morale and degree of alienation in society Behavioral: * activation (or not activation) of any activity; ¢ sending different types of actions (eg political demonstrations); ¢ provoking altruistic manifestations (charity campaign. One study looked at adolescents who were asked to watch such a reality show and a typical group of young people. By the end of the experiment, the doctors found out that, under the influence of plastic surgery programs, the fair sex was eager to go to a plastic surgeon and, with his help, make their appearance more attractive. 16 About 80% of viewers who use the services of plastic surgeons have watched reality shows about plastic surgery on TV, and more than half are loyal fans. The fact is that the work of plastic surgeons is not always about changing the shape of the eyes or the shape of the nose. Often, specialists help people who have received this or that injury in restoring their appearance. 17 The video platform has gained more popularity than television for several reasons. The necessary videos on YouTube can be viewed anytime, anywhere and on any electronic device, unlike television. This mobility and multitasking is inherent in new generations who are used to living in a new global world, and therefore watching television is inconvenient for them. 20 Younger generations are the main users of YouTube, growing up in the digital age. They are used to receiving all the information they need through gadgets. Moreover, they are also accustomed to the fact that these gadgets are constantly being improved. YouTube gives them this opportunity to gain new knowledge in a familiar environment. That is why this video hosting is so popular in the modern world.
