Breach of security issues: illegal and unethical to recall exam items or to solicit questions from the exam; FSBPT will actively prosecute violators No more than 3 attempts in 12 months (must pay all exam fees each time, temporary permit cannot be renewed) New failed exam policy: No more than 6 lifetime fails; no more than 2 extremely low scores allowed Temp Permits expire, nonrenewable NPTE Candidate Handbook - \Format and content of exam; outline of areas covered with %s and # of Qs Breaks FAQ Exam security Prep for NPTE - \test taking skills, including language test taking stress study books/course practice exam: PEAT for PTAs at www.fsbpt.org (fee): 2 practice exams, 60 days, web-based, looks like actual exam, automatic/immediate scoring, performance rpt by content/system, explanations for correct answers, and references have the right ID! Temp Permit - \Must be registered/approved with FSBPT for NPTE MN Temporary Permit: $25 fee (may be submitted later in application process) Application form: signature, understanding of requirements for supervision, name and license number of supervisor (for each location, approval by Board in advance if there are going to be changes in location or supervisor) Supervision: direct, immediate, and on-premises by PT supervisor Licensure Dates - \PT Board meeting date.
