Christmas Day commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, God's Son The meaning of Christmas is found specifically in the remembrance and celebration of God's presence in our world through Jesus, God-made flesh. Good Friday is the day on which Christians remember Jesus Christ's crucifixion. Christians observe Good Friday as a day of penance, mourning, and fasting. Advent Sunday It serves as a reminder to Christians to remember and prepare for Jesus' birth. Lent and Ash Wednesday It marks the beginning of the Lenten season, which culminates in Easter, when Christians believe Jesus was resurrected. Ashes represent both death and repentance. What are some of the notable events that paved the way for the creation of Christianity? -The notable events that paved the way for the creation of Christianity are Christmas Day, All Saints' Day, Good Friday, Advent Sunday and Lent and Ash Wednesday. 2. Why are these historical events important in the establishment of Christianity? -It is significant because it should be remembered, and we should all be aware that these have been a fundamental feature of our history in Christianity. 3.
