Each genotype is represented equally in both sexes and each can be distinguished by eye colour. Determine the allele and genotype frequencies and whether or not the locus is in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. B) Briefly describe the different kinds of selection acting on populations. 2. Write an essay on Molecular Systematics. 3. “All speciation is allopatric in one way or another”. Discuss. 4. Which (placental) mammalian developmental stage is the equivalent of the blastula in other animals? Describe the fate of the two basic cell types composing this stage in mammals and refer also to their developmental potency. What is the main hallmark in subsequent mammalian development?
