Progress made on gender issues in a global context, specifically in terms of how far gender equality has been achieved, or not, in the past decade. It also reflects on how we might tackle one of the most pressing social, economic, and political issues of our times and effectively address this in the next decade and beyond. In so doing, it also considers the effects of political, social, and economic shifts on women and men’s lives in both global and everyday contexts. In addition, how individuals and groups are resisting and challenging gender inequalities and attempting to intervene and correct the causes and consequences of gendered power imbalances will be discussed. On the other hand, at the present time inequality exist in this modern era as to draw your attention women still experience assault, abuse, discrimination, and men being judged for acting more feminine and fragile. Let us look back at the past or in the history, men were given more power than women does. With traditional, cultural, and religion beliefs women will always be inferior to men, as to point out men are the superior with the result of being narcissist and misogynist. "Up until recently, boys and men were shamed for expressing any genuine feelings except for anger. In addition, that is a terrible message to send to a human being who is capable of experiencing feelings we do not even yet have words. As time goes by, women fought for their rights. Women in this generation or era has the right to vote and to join in any field of politics, science, math etc. It goes to men who see women as equal nor looking down at them. In addition, men are not too much focus of bringing the title of ‘masculinity’. Some of them can be fragile like women. Reducing inequality strengthens economies and builds stable, resilient societies that give all individuals the opportunity to fulfil their potential. Equity leads to equality. Gender equality requires equal enjoyment by women and men of socially valued goods, opportunities, resources and rewards. Where gender inequality exists, generally women are excluded or disadvantaged in relation to decision-making and access to economic and social resources. Therefore, a critical aspect of promoting gender equality is the empowerment of women, with a focus on identifying and redressing power imbalances and giving women more autonomy to manage their own lives. Gender equality does not mean that men and women become the same; only that access to opportunities and life changes is neither dependent on, nor constrained by, their sex. Achieving gender equality requires women’s empowerment to ensure that decision-making at private and public levels, and access to resources are no longer weighted in men’s favor, so that both women and men can fully participate as equal partners in productive and
