This should include metrics; a simple way to do this is to show a schedule of effort spent on the project by week  Lessons - Described any problems they had or any lessons that they learned for next time  Organization - Presentation was organized in a manner that enhanced the audience's understanding  Materials - Clear, not too much on a slide/screen, readable from the back of the room; appropriate English syntax and grammar used  Time - Did not take too little time, so that material was explained inadequately, or too much time, leaving inadequate time for other team members (speakers should be given an equitable portion of the presentation for the material that they must present)  Oral skills - Facing and making eye contact with members of the audience, words and phrases enunciated well, spoke loud enough to be heard (but not too loud), few annoying mannerisms such as pacing back and forth, saying "uh" after every sentence or word, getting in the way of the presentation materials, etc.  Attire - Business casual dress (no denim jeans or jackets, shorts, T-shirts, sandals, athletic wear, torn clothing, clothing with inappropriate language, or provocative or revealing clothing)  Polish and attitude - Clear that the presentation was rehearsed and ready to go, positive attitude and enthusiastic about the presentation, able to handle questions and comments positively Presentation Rating Suggestions  Purpose - o Excellent: you know exactly what problem they are solving o Good: you have a pretty good idea of the problem o Satisfactory: you sort of understand the problem o Marginal: you are not sure what problem is being solved o Unsatisfactory: what problem?  Demonstration - o Excellent: the demo knocked your socks off o Good: the demo was well planned o Satisfactory: the demo was easy to follow o Marginal: some parts of the demo were hard to follow o Unsatisfactory: what was that?  Progress - o Excellent: you can tell exactly how much effort they spent o Good: you have a good idea how much effort they have spent o Satisfactory: you can tell that they made some progress o Marginal: there is some evidence of progress o Unsatisfactory: you cannot tell if they did anything  Lessons - o Excellent: very good summary of problems and lessons o Good: problems are clear, lessons okay o Satisfactory: they learned a few things o Marginal: they might have learned something o Unsatisfactory: they did not learn anything  Organization - o Excellent: great organization that enhanced the presentation o Good: the organization was clear o Satisfactory: there was some organization o Marginal: organization was clearly lacking in some spots o Unsatisfactory: unorganized to the point of distraction  Materials - o Excellent: outstanding slides o Good: slides were clear o Satisfactory: slides were legible o Marginal: hard to read some slides o Unsatisfactory: could not read or understand the slides  Time - o Excellent: plenty of time for questions, but covered everything thoroughly o Good: enough time for everyone o Satisfactory: managed to cover all the material o Marginal: had to skip something, or wasted time unnecessarily o Unsatisfactory: completely blew the schedule  Oral skills - o Excellent: so good you did not want them to stop o Good: most speakers made eye contact, had clear voices o Satisfactory: could understand everyone o Marginal: some speakers were hard to understand o Unsatisfactory: most speakers were hard to understand  Attire - o Excellent: they would impress your parents o Good: nice enough to bring home to meet your parents o Satisfactory: presentable o Marginal: not sure if you would bring them home to meet your parents o Unsatisfactory: don't let your parents see them  Attitude - o Excellent: made you want to join their team o Good: presenters were relaxed, answered questions easily o Satisfactory: seemed positive o Marginal: seemed unsure of themselves o Unsatisfactory: seemed genuinely embarrassed to be there
