ECE225L PRELAB #8 DUE: TUESDAY, MARCH 31, 2009 + − − + − v(t) + − R 6 + 1 Vdc 10k 10k 10k 10k 100k 100n Figure 1: Integrating Op-Amp Circuit PLA-1: Compute the values of the coefficients a and b of the first-order linear differential equation from the values used in the above figure. Solve this first-order differential equation using a zero initial condition for the output voltage. (Assume R6 infinite for this part.) PLA-2: Run a PSpice simulation to check your analytical results in PLA-1. Submit a schematic of your circuit as well as a plot of v(t). Use two uA741 in the “EVAL” library. Do not forget to power these two op-amps with ±15-volt power supplies. Simulate the circuit for 10 time constants and use a time step that is 1/100 of the period. (Use a value for R6 equal to 10 MΩ or larger for the simulated circuit.) Instead of using a DC voltage source equal to 1V, use VPULSE in the “SOURCE” library with the following parameters: PER = 100m PW = 49.8m TD = 0 TR = 100u TF = 100u V1 = 0 V2 = 1
