BSIT — INF213 Reflection Log When Mr. Velasquez discussed the activity about the problem-solution essay, I immediately think about the War on Drugs campaign of Pres. Rodrigo Duterte to be the topic because human rights is very close to my heart. My partner Marcelo chooses me to be his partner and I suggested that I will love if our topic will be about the campaign of our current President which is the War on Drugs. He thinks that this topic is hard that’s why he asked me why we should choose this topic then I said that this campaign is a way to kill the humanity in the Philippines that when the campaign started many people are dying without due process and the percentage of extra judicial killings increases. With that, as a citizen of the Philippines, ’'m bothered of what is happening in our country, so I want to put an end to this even if I’m just a student. When I’m done telling him the problem about the topic, he agreed to it. When I’m thinking of the solution to this problem, I want it to be realistic. With that, I came up to the solution as a college student what I think should the man in power should do. I stated that to be able to achieve the change that we all need is you have to start listening to your people. Fight for their rights not deprived them for their rights. I also stated that the current administration should know that everyone needs to have a due process. They should listen to its people, not kIIl them and focus on what’s really the problem is.
