Reflection Paper As I dive reading the article, I realize that you have the right to put your ideas and convictions into action as well as to think about them. This could include the right to dress in religious attire, the right to express your religious beliefs, and the right to participate in any religious worship. History is very interesting, I'm slowly digesting information that is extremely important and that requires an open mind to comprehend. We need to defend the truth of God. Just like what Luther did. Martin Luther was dissatisfied with the corruption he perceived in the church, particularly the sale of indulgences, and as a result, he left the church and founded his own. I like the bravery of Martin Luther because of his courage in standing up for what is right and speaking the truth. Becoming a voice for morality in both the church and the world at large is never easy. Luther did try to improve the Catholic Church through his protests. He was trying to reveal the gospel truth. What is the harm in disclosing the truth that one has discovered for oneself in the scriptures? The only people who would have an issue with something like that are those who are attempting to conceal or hide something from the public. The Catholic priests and their followers were simply not acting in the role of the body of Christ. That is what "church" is all about. The "body of Christ," in other words. The demand for the purification of the church, as well as the idea that the Bible, rather than tradition, should be the primary source of divine authority. Having read this article, I'm more convinced than ever that going to church isn't enough; we also need to feed our faith by reading God's word and praying genuinely and true to him every day. Therefore, going to churches is not enough. We also need to read the scriptures and gospels of God, read and read, and critique the teaching. Through this, you will know and meet Jesus Christ and he will become your Lord and Savior. This will make your love and faith in God nourished. The bible will be your guide, God, and the Holy Spirit.
