Blood Donation Camp Report Jaihind college in Mumbai organized a Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with Pooja Blood bank, Colaba. camp was organized in the college multi – purpose hall from 9:00 am to 1:00p.m on 26th January on the occasion of republic Day Celebration. The camp was inaugurated by the hands of the Chief Guest, Dr. Mahesh Patil. In his inaugural speech, he informed about the importance of blood donation in the life of an individual. He encouraged participants to donate blood fearlessly. Nearly 75 students, 15 teachers and 25 citizens participated in the camp. The Principal too gave some valuable advice about importance of blood donation. Five well known doctors too gave their advice focusing on the Myths and Facts of blood donation. A few students presented posters, there also a quiz. A group of volunteers organized a skit based on the theme’. There was a free health check-up Service available for Donors. Nearly bottles blood was collected and donated to the bank. The participants received their certificates and refreshments after donation. The vote of thanks was proposed by the President of Pooja Blood Bank. The camp was a success.
