Morgan Malmgren Hello Morgan, you did a very good job n the way expounded on the concept of the restorative justice system. It is important to note that the justice system is interlinked with the way human beings can work on many issues. Many offenders may be acting without knowing the impacts of their actions and hence the need to address the issues of both the victim and the offender in any justice procedure. Your response was one of the most exhaustive research and can be implemented in many ways that need proper consideration if humanity factor. Many people can make mistakes but restitution is still an option in this situation. You provided a better explanation for ways in which restorative justice can help the offender. In this regard, the justice system should not only offer a listening ear to the victim but also the offender. Your explanations were therefore articulate and can be used to help various victims of the wrong prosecution since offenders' plea can also be taken into consideration. Kevin Hee Dear Kevin Hee, your definition and of the system of justice is correct, and based on your research you did a good job. However, this type of system has some weaknesses. The main weakness of this system is, it won’t be able to solve cases of hard-core criminals who commit the habitual type of crimes. Such criminals cannot be helped by this type of system as it has become a habit for them to consistently repeat this kind of crime. About the Californian prison system, you’re true to say a no to the abolishment of such prisons as it helps deal with such kinds of criminals stated above. This has to happen to keep the community safe from such kinds of persons. On matters to do with the community using this kind of a system, it is good that personally, you come from a community that embraces and considers this as a kind of a system to uphold.
