This paper points out the psychological impact of pandemic to the Senior High School students of Iloilo National High School wherein the students are experiencing stress, hardships, and challenges; moreover, we can identify the relationship between lack of sleep and mental health issues faced by the students. This new learning method was implemented for students to continue their education. Study was conducted to know how sleep affects the student’s mental health and learning capacity to these sudden changes. Many people expected that the students could catch up and cope up easily with this new system because of the generation where in. For young individuals with mental health concerns, school routines are helpful coping techniques. This new method of study made the learners struggle and created a new level of uncertainty for many, like upheaval to people’s routines, and this includes sleep and insomnia. Getting rest is hard enough, but during the pandemic it made it even harder. The main question that will lead you to understand this study effectively is “What is the psychological impact of pandemic to the Senior High School Students of Iloilo National High School. “ Based on the different experiences of students that they encounter, we listed a few the research questions that will guide you to conduct of the study. I overwork my school activities at night resulting in not being able to sleep. My workload during distance classes affected the amount of my sleep every night. Sleep deprivation affected my productivity in doing school outputs I am worried about the overwhelming amount of tasks disrupting my sleeping schedule. Sleep deprivation affects my everyday efficiency. My bedtime changed ever since the pandemic. Lacked of sleep impaired my ability to focus on daily tasks. I think of the upcoming exams and performance tasks in other subject/s before I go to sleep. I expect stress concerning future school work. Not having constant schoolwork is a relief from insomnia associated with stress. I have difficulty in sleeping every night. I felt restless going to bed. I always end up staying late at night using my gadgets.
