Bouillon Office: 2330 Gerdin Business Building Office Hours: by appointment Phone: 294-9276 e-mail: bouillon@iastate.edu Course Objective: To give a basic understanding of the types of information used to make decisions in an organization, and how this information is generated. Prerequisite: Accounting 383, 508 or equivalent Course Materials:  Managerial Accounting by Garrison, Noreen and Brewer, 11th Ed. Course Format: Before class each day, students should read the material and complete the assigned in-class problems. Class time will include both lectures over the reading material and work out of the assigned problems. Attendance: Regular attendance is expected and necessary for success in this course. If you miss a class, you are responsible for all work covered during your absence. You will not be allowed to make up quizzes or homework. Your instructor will explain his expectations on the first day of class. Course Requirements: First Exam (February 3) Second Exam (March 3) Project Presentation/Analysis Class Participation 100 pts. 100 pts. 100 pts. 150 pts. 50 pts. TOTAL 500 pts. Incompletes: The University policy will be followed with respect to the granting of incomplete course work. See the ISU Information Handbook.
